When RV slide outs start grinding the issue is sometimes something dragging on something else in the track. It can be that the tracks had something fall into them and now that is what you are hearing or they are misaligned.
Sometimes it can also be a stripped gear. Sometimes it can also be that the motor and gear box isn't all the way tightened down. Best option is to get underneath the slide out and inspect everything and you'll most likely see the issue. Or you can take it to an RV... view full answer...
Sounds like maybe there's an alignment issue with your MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray part # MR69RR that is not allowing it to fully slide out. It's like a desk drawer where two sections of the railing slide out as you pull the tray out so I would inspect to make sure there isn't something causing the second rail to get hung up. view full answer...
The Yakima round bars will allow more movement of pretty much any accessory due to the reduced surface area for the mount contact. The Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box XXL # TH6359B or XL # TH6358B with quick-grip mounting clamps will hold the box secure front to back but with round bars the side to side movement may continue to be an issue in crosswinds.

To fill a hole on an RV will vary depending on how the RV is constructed. Fiberglass sided campers with laminate walls are the most common found on RV's. These walls will have a steel plate mounted inside the wall to provide mounting points for items like a cargo door holder. If you are unable to use a larger diameter mounting screw you will need to fill the holes with Silicone # 0160297 and move the door holder.

To retention your Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000168109 you'll want to extend the slide out and can then get on a ladder and get up to the arms. You'll disconnect the extension rod # LC3452072 from the arm and then can roll the arm 12 - 16 times towards the trailer and slip a pin or small screwdriver through the slot in the connection point between the arms and the roller tube to lock the arm in place and then reconnect it to the extension rod.

Awning rails are the rails that are above the slide out that the slide topper like part # LCV000163290 would attach to. They are not the same as the rain gutter. You have to have this on your RV to install a slide topper and we do not carry them.

You'll have to remove the roller tube on the Solera Slide-Out Awning # LCV000163285 and reroll the fabric and then reattach the roller to the arms. The manufacturer recommends rolling it completely back up and then unrolling it only one revolution and attaching while the slide out is closed or at max slid 6" away from the RV. view full answer...
If the fabric on your Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 6'7" Wide - 48" Projection - White # LCV000163285 is laying loose with no tension you've most likely lost the required amount of tension on your tension springs. You'll want to remove the slide topper from the brackets and reroll the awning roller 14 times to add enough tension to the springs. Based on the pictures you've provided it looks like the other end is running up under a seal. In one of the pictures you can see where the strip broke and it looks like it was screwed to the bottom of the slide out box and that's where it separated from other portion of the strip. You'll need to pull that wiper seal back to reveal the screws holding the strip in place. It's typically just screwed into the box so you can just reuse the mounting holes when swapping in the new strip.

From the sounds of the issue, it is possible that you have bad solenoids on your hydraulics that are pushing hydraulic fluid through when they shouldn't be active. This can be a sign that the mechanism needs replaced.

Testing the brake controller is fairly easy. Sever the blue brake output wire near the brake controller leaving enough room to reconnect it and then apply the manual slide. Using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993, you should get output to the controller side of the wire you severed. If the manual slide activates the trailer brake output wire properly, try the brake pedal. A slide out should - obviously - not be crunching and there are a myriad of potential issues that simply replacing the gear pack with one like # LC123356 would not be prudent. What it could be is that some how the slide out has become misaligned or there is some other type of internal issue that a simple replacement part would be unable to remedy. You could be experiencing some sort of hydraulic issue, so I would check the hydraulic lines for any signs of leakage and make sure that the reservoir is not low. I would also recommend that you're getting the full 12v of power onto the solenoid on the Hydraulic Power Unit. If you can verify that there are no leaks present and your reservoir is full, let me know and I can give you a couple of other troubleshooting steps.

If you've replaced the motor and your slide out is still creeping then it's most likely a worn crown gear in your slide out's gear pack. Over time the teeth can wear and allow the slide to creep outwards. We carry a few size options for replacing the gear pack so you'll want to measure the arm to figure out the correct size for your trailer. I am not sure which exact slide-out system you have as there are several, made by both Power Gear and Happijac but I spoke with Lippert who now owns Power Gear. They informed me that there is not a clutch to stop the motor from overextending nor do they think the motor is overpowered but what they suspect is happening is that the slide is dragging which is then not allowing the drive shaft to turn thereby shearing the pin. The reason why the extension rod of your Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000168107 is touching the corner flange piece is either because you have too large of an awning installed or the awning isn't centered on the slide out. If the tension isn't properly split between the two rods then it will pull too much on one side and start touching the flange. Too large of an awning places the extension rods too far out in the mounting brackets and they start to bend.

If the front arm/hinge on your Yakima SkyBox Cargo Box like the SkyBox 12 # Y07334 isn't unhooking due to the carrier being over-stuffed, then your only real option is to try and wiggle around your cargo enough to get some clearance between it and the arm. Since you're able to release the back hinge you should hopefully be able to open the box just enough to slide something inside to maybe move some of your belongings around to try and disengage that front hinge to open the box fully.

The arms of a slide out sit approximately 2.5" past the fabric. The Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000177334 goes up to 145 so if subtract 140.5 from that you're left with 4.5" that would be divided in two and added to the 2.5" from the arm, which would mean that your awning sticks out roughly 4.75" on each side past your 140.5" measurement.
The # LCV000168328 fits a flange measurement of 134" - 139" so you would only have to worry about the 2.5" on each side which would shrink as well... view full answer...
